Langley's waterside village has been transformed into a winter wonderland. Lights twinkle, garlands trim our quaint shops and Candy Cane lane connects our community from the water to Langley Village.
Holiday spice fills the air while mysterious elves do their busy work preparing for the month-long community celebration that is uniquely Langley.Come Home to Langley for the holidays and enjoy all that we have to offer. Here is a list of upcoming events to warm the hearts of those young and old.

Saturday, Nov. 28
Lighting of Langley begins at 4 p.m.
Joing fellow carolers at Langley Park, corner of Second Street and Anthes Avenue for the annual art tree lighting. Enjoy Vern Olsen's music, performances by actors from Whidbey Children's Theater and Whidbey Island Center for the Arts, as well as the arrival of Santa and his pack of Rein-alpacas. Warm cider and hot chocolate will be available by our beloved 4-Hers.
Friday, Dec. 4
Friday Night Flights from 4-6:30 p.m.
A walk-about wine tasting! Enjoy a sampling of Sparkling Wines for the Holidays along with small bites at Friday Night Flights. Tickets for a sample and bite at each of three venues are $20 per person and available at Chef’s Pantry, Prima Bistro and the Edgecliff.
Saturday, Dec. 5
Holiday Parade at 11 a.m.
Complete with a float contest, this holiday favorite is in its second year. Beginning at 6th Street and Cascade Avenue, the parade winds its way down Second Street, along Anthes Avenue and then back up First Street.
Langley Cooks: 1-3 p.m. Holiday Open House
Join the Chef's Pantry at 112 1/2 Anthes Avenue for a Holiday Open House with free samples, donations benefiting Northwest Harvest.
Holiday Arts Walk from 5-7 p.m.
Fine art galleries, bedecked for the holidays, will debut exhibits showcasing regional artists. Featured artists will be there to meet with gallery goers.
Sunday Dec. 6
Lodging Tour and Tastes from noon-5 p.m.
Meet the innkeepers, partake of tasty bites and tour 10 of South Whidbey's renowned inns and bed and breakfast establishments. Tickets cost $20 per person and are available at the Langley Chamber office, 221-6765.

Blow your own Glass Ornaments!
Come and create a one-of-a-kind glass ornament or snowman with glass artist Callahan McVay at the Firehouse Glass Gallery on Second Street. It's a blow-your-own opportunity. Choose colors and sizes and work the "Glory Hole." We guarantee the glass shop is the warmest place in Langley in the winter!
