Marti Murphy of One to One Personal Training started working as an aerobics instructor in 1987, complete with leg warmers, thong leotards and a pink head band! She was certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) in 1988 and has been an ongoing member of the IDEA Health and Fitness Association since 1988. Over the years she has continued her education and broadened her health and fitness experience, allowing her to create individual, unique and personal programs for each individual. Marti received her personal training certification in the early 1990s. In 2004 Marti earned her Cancer Exercise Specialist certification. This certification has been of great assistance in helping this special group manage their strength and health. In 2007 she started One to One Personal Training.

Karen Carbone is a Registered Nurse and Doctor of Natural Health. She worked in hospital nursing and then became certified for critical care nursing which allowed her to work in the ICU, CCU and ER. She was recruited by Blue Cross of California to start a new line of business in integrated medical care. At Blue Cross she was one of the first two women to hold a Vice President position within the company. In 1996 she moved to Whidbey Island, Washington and opened a community pharmacy with a partner which she owned and operated for 9 years. In 2004 she returned to school and completed her Bachelor of Natural Health Studies followed by a Doctor of Natural Health. In May 2008 she opened her naturopathic practice on Whidbey Island, called “All About Health.”

Lynn Bangston, President of All Coastal Properties, Inc. has created events ranging in size from birthday parties for 12 five year olds to weddings with 500 guests to fundraisers chartering two 737’s from Honolulu to Las Vegas for the American Cancer Society, and the whole gamut in between! Always, her emphasis is on creating the best possible experience for the participants, and that means FUN! She holds a degree in Business Administration and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Washington State. For the last 20 years she has organized events and fundraisers, raising over $250,000 for the South Whidbey Community. Her creativity and attention to the details insures the success of your event. Lynn is looking forward to a weekend of great food, fitness and fun………… all while playing!
